Athletics

First the year ones lined up on the  line the boys went first Clap! Mrs Castle Smashed the clappers together.

After what seemed hours. It was my turn I was to run.

I was nervous my hands were shaking like boulders ready to fall off a mountain. Lined up beside me was Selu, Anita, Erana, Serenity, Maria and Fou. Bang ! the clappers go.All the girls ran the 100m sprint. I was trying my hardest to come first but Anita was zooming down the track like it was a piece of cake. We crossed the line I came second.

I was so hot and tired I just wanted to go for a cold swim.

“Anita first, Princess second, Serenity and Erana in third place.” Shouted Mrs Ahfook, as we crossed.

After the races and races and relays and the parents race it was time for the medals “Yr6 girls, in first place is Anita and in second is Princess and Erana and Serenity are third place.”

“I got a silver medal yeah.”

I was so proud.

Inter school Athletics

This is the inter school Athletics  we had a busy week last week doing all of the pat test but this week it was really fun getting to Know people from different schools and participating in the inter school athletics day it  was really fun doing javelin I got it the fairest.

Shot put Practice

        We are practicing shot put for our fun athletics day. We had to put the shot put by our ear and push the ball if your allboy goes first then that means you throw it and you could get disqualified.

It was really fun trying to get the shot put the farest.

It was really hard trying to lift the shot put it was heavy.   

My Kiwiana

This is my kiwiana sweets, what I enjoyed was getting the photos, the one thing that was tricky was when I had to move the photos and recolour the words.

Dear to make a choice

We learnt about the effects of drugs it was fun making the decisions and thinking about the consequences of a bad choice and an easy choice. The tricky part was when we had to think of decisions for another person.

Kiwiana Collabartion

These are traditional kiwiana clothes, foods, trees everything from New Zealand . What I liked about this was it was fun doing this with my friend and looking at all the clothes and the stubbies, old people shorts look really funny.
